As a Team Lead Logistics, you are responsible for the daily management of a team of warehouse logistics employees. You ensure that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. You monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and make adjustments where necessary. You work closely with other departments and report to the Warehouse Coordinator. In this role, you combine operational leadership with coaching and employee development.
What you'll do
As a Team Lead Logistics, you are responsible for the daily management of a team of logistics employees within the warehouse. You ensure that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule. You monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and make adjustments where necessary. You work closely with other departments and report to the Warehouse Coordinator. In this role, you combine operational management with coaching and employee development.
Specifically:

Distribute tasks and set priorities within the team

Monitor progress, quality, and safety of all logistics activities

Manage, guide, and motivate employees in their development

Identify operational bottlenecks and provide appropriate solutions

Ensure correct use of equipment and tools

Ensure proper handover between shifts
-
Work according to safety regulations and ensure compliance
What you bring

MBO-level education and thinking ability, preferably in logistics
-
Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
-
Experience managing and guiding employees
-
Strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality
-
Ability to maintain overview and set priorities

Knowledge of logistics processes and safety regulations
-
Good command of the English language to communicate effectively within our organisation

Part of the onboarding process involves undergoing a screening. Among other things, you must be able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The costs for this are reimbursed by us.
