E&I Technician

As an E&I Technician at MPG, you ensure that our high-tech production lines keep running smoothly. You troubleshoot malfunctions, carry out inspections, and keep our machines in top condition. You work independently, but never alone — together with fellow technicians and external specialists, you contribute to a safe, stable, and continuously improving production environment.

Our production is growing rapidly. New machines, new production lines, and new technologies require a technical department that thinks ahead. That is why we are looking for an E&I Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and improving technical processes. Do you enjoy working in a modern production environment? What you'll do

As an E&I Technician, you are the technical backbone of our site. You work on both mechanical and electrical systems, carry out inspections, and resolve malfunctions before they become problems. You work in a structured and safe manner, with a strong focus on quality.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Locating and analyzing malfunctions (mechanical and electrical)

  • Resolving issues based on reports and your own diagnostics

  • Performing periodic inspections and preventive maintenance

  • Assessing the condition of machines and documenting findings

  • Setting up, calibrating, and test-running equipment

  • Making improvement proposals for technology, safety, and processes

  • Checking and maintaining tools and spare parts inventory

  • Registering maintenance and troubleshooting activities in systems

What you bring
  • Experience as a maintenance or troubleshooting technician (mechanical and/or electrical)

  • Ability to work independently and set priorities

  • You work accurately, safely, and according to procedures

  • You are solution-oriented and remain calm under pressure during malfunctions

  • You communicate clearly with colleagues, operators, and external technicians

  • You have a proactive attitude and recognize opportunities for improvement

  • Part of the onboarding process involves undergoing a screening. Among other things, you must be able to provide a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). The costs for this are reimbursed by us.
